Potatoes and manure

    Hi all was having some well aged manure yesterday but the guys truck broke down and now can’t get it to me till next week so decided to just get the spuds in
    So my question now the spuds are in when I get the manure can I just spread it over the spuds like a mulch (nothing has sprouted yet) will it cause problems
