    Hi Everyone
I have arrived back from my long holiday and now must get to work :yho:, firstly i want to grow some potatoes in some of those sack things, as most of you know i went to Cyprus and enjoyed the potatoes grown there, has any body any idea what type they are, i know they cannot be the same as soil and water is a contributing factor ,but i will settle for something similar.
Secondly i want to make a start with seed sewing in my unheated greenhouse ,is it too early for tomatoes :thumb:

"is it too early for tomato"

Yes, they won't germinate / survive in an unheated greenhouse, but if you can germinate them in the house (they need 20C-25C), on a windowsill, that will take a week, and another week or two in small pots, and by then your cold greenhouse will be pretty much OK

If it helps: once you have pricked out the seedlings you can put them in the greenhouse during the day, but they will need to come in at night if there is any chance of a cold night.
