I planted some spuds under a small glass self made cold frame/ store.

Any way there growing well but the leaves are now hitting the glass and im not sure what to do about it.

Can i cut the leaves or will this affect the growing potatoes.

or should i dig it up and transplant to another position.

    Hi esdel,

Spuds don't transplant very well, I take it you can't take the glass out then ?

Cutting the leaves will not decrease yield. but keep some so the plants can photosynthesise Ideally these should have been planted in open ground.

Depends on the variety and many other factors.

esdel; depending on the variety and when you planted them they may well be ready to dig up and eat. Have they flowered yet?
