Hi guys, need your help again please [IMG]

Getting to grips with tidying the new allotment. Taking shape now. Today sown first of our seeds (in trays) and suddenly realised we'd forgotten the potatoes! Then wondered how on earth to we sow pototoes?? Do you buy them ready to go, do we do something with the ones lurking at the bottom of our veg drawer??? Do we do it now?? So many questions, so little time??!

You can purchase seed potatoes at your local garden centre.

You still have time sheppy.Maincrop don`t go in till mid-late April so you could chit them in egg boxes for a couple of weeks to help them on a bit. There are loads to choose from, depends on what you like.Maybe someone at allotment can tell you where they buy theirs?

I only put my earlies in this week because it has been too wet to put them in before. I planted charlotte and harlequin. Your definitely not too late.

Find out what type of tatties you want then ask at your local garden centre for some advice, they may have some that have been out readily chitting for you.

Elaine is right, maincrops don't go in for a few weeks yet. I have chosen to plant desiree and maris piper, good all rounders
