    Hi

I stored new potatoes in hessian sacks three sacks in total around 40lb in each they wer all dry before they were stored however after a week i tipped them out and had o throw away several because they were a little rotten.

Also there were others a little damp is there any better way of storing potatoes.

Not really golfer...other than brown paper sacks.....but you do need to check them weekly as some will be prone to rotting etc....you can't see if a spud is damaged in anyway. Hessian is supposed to be the best thing, but you do need to have a breathing hole in the top of the bag. Of course storing in the coolest place possible as well (don't mean a freezer though):thumb:
