    Hi
I planted rooster potatos 3 weeks ago , I planted navan they have started to break soil already and I planted rooster potatos and I dug one up and it hasn't grown at all just has tiny white eyes, I had a few potatos left over the navans sprouted in the bag the roosters didn't, should I just dig up to rooster potatos our do they just take longer to start?

Think both those varieties are maincrop so won't be ready till August.
As a rule of thumb potatoes are ready once they flower although not all varieties produce flowers every year.
My early potatoes were planted mid March and should be ready late May.

      Aye, give them a chance.
Are they in the ground, pots etc ?
Did you add fertiliser ? - seed potatoes are partial to some fish, blood and bone fertiliser.

fish blood and bone - Bing
