    Hi All
    Having a break and a large mug of tea.

    I have cleaned out the green house all the old tom plants etc .
    And all my new or baby daylilys in pots which have been growing outside all summer I will be putting away (for the winter) I have put up the staging, I always check each pot over remove any weeds and check for slugs and snails , now i have used various style of pot to be honest any I could get my hands on , and not one pot did not have a slug or a snail on.

    On the bottom , on the sides under the edge , they seem to make pots so slugs/snails have the perfect living accomadation .
    Any way all have been evited (I hope)

    Rant over:wallbang::wallbang::wallbang:

    ps Armandii I have written on the pots as well all names :yess:

      Spruce, baby snails have a habit of squatting in pots over the winter, only to leap out and attack everything with gusto as soon as the new leaves appear. Make sure you check things over again at the start of the new season.

        Sometimes if I've got enough time I'll soak my pots in a weak dilution of Milton and washing up liquid for a couple of hours in a bucket. Hopefully that gets rid of any of the really tiny blighters.
