Forgot to say on previous Oak barrel post.I did a run around to all the sheds first to look for some nice pots and there are some bargains out there.
In homebase as other places they still have some of last years stock left which they would like to sell.I purchased a oak barrel look alike which to be honest will last for only a few years if not preserved well before using.A large one was £7 in sale. What they di have and I was going to buy both but one was severely cracked was a very large blue/grey ceramic pot (46cm).It was originally £36 then reduced to £25 -£14.99 and I purchased it for £9.99!!! Absolute bargain.I think this week I will do another tour to look again at the sale pots.

I did buy this pot to transfer my clematis from its plastic container but once my wife saw it she has bagged it for the Hosta Sum and Substance which needs a bigger pot so it back to square one and start looking again for a bargain!!

Shopping around is definitely the best bet - some pots cost an absolute fortune, but you can really get some bargains
