Potting combinations

    I am ashamed to say i have never really bothered with winter pots (sorry [​IMG] ), but this year i feel galvanised into action sooooooo

    Any idea's/combinations? The brighter the better but not Cyclamen i'm afraid anything else i would really appreciate advice on.

    I have to have some winter violas around the place, some of those are in pots - but if you wanted something a bit different, what about some alpines or succulents?

    Claire,

    Good idea, i tried spiral succulents but their life was short lived, one of the dogs got them within hours :(

    Winter viola's, now there is an idea, thankyou for that :D

    Paula, you should try spiritual succulents. Washed down with a litre of very dry martini. [​IMG]

    John, i laughed out loud again :D Paula gives a belly laugh [​IMG]

    I have aquired a liking for the odd Vodka, soda and lime (for the vit C [​IMG] who am i trying to kid), over a shed load of ice, [​IMG]

    I've just made up my hanging baskets with lavender ice pansies and trailing ivy..I bought the pansies as plugs but you can buy them as readies now or from garden centre. They are supposed to be fairly tough little fellas..we'll see!
