As with most things gardening, I have put the cart before the horse (Im sure its not the first time I've used that expression and I'm equally sure it won't be the last). I decided a while back that I would like to plant some nerine bowdenii bulbs. I have several places that I believe will suit them down to the ground. I recently took the plunge and bought several packets in a multibuy deal. I realise it's still too early to plant them out but I saw them there and picked them up.

One of the places I have in mind is still in need of landscaping. I'm hoping to get around to it before the summer but with me there is no guarantee that will happen. It is said that Nerines do not appreciate being moved. Can I pot up my unused bulbs and then plant them out when the space becomes available.

@Jack Sparrow could you not grow them in degradable pots and when ready just put them in the ground?
