1st year in the greenhouse (cold) and its a steep learning curve. I've learnt that i need the vents and door open for air circulation.

Yesterday i found out about potting on too early, i already knew not to let plants become potbound and went on my merry way.

Worried now about weak root systems and overwatering (something else i learnt about this weekend)

So i have a greenhouse of plants in pots that are probably too big and growbags.

Growbag 1 Shirley tomatos (3) in bottomless pots (20cm)
Growbag 2 Chilli plants (3) straight into bag
Growbag 3 Tomatos (3) bottomless pots
Growbag 4 Pepper Plants (2) bottomless pots and Chillis (2)
Growbag 5 Strawberry Plants (6) with bottle feed to roots
Growbag 6 Melons (2) bottomless pots
Growbag 7 Courgettes (2) bottomless pots
Growbag 8 Tomato (3) Bottomless pots

Hanging basket with a Tumbler Tom in it
    Large Pot with snap peas
    Large pot with gardeners delight

4 pots each with one plum roma seedling in them

I also have some small cucumber plants, carrot seedlings, sunflowers, dwarf french beans coming through, and lots of plum roma seedlings.

Have boxes of cut and come again salad, radishes, iceberg lettuce and reluctant spring onions.

So any advice, tips. Worried that some things will never grow up and that others will gow up and fall over without their root support.

My Granch thinks that potting into containers that are too big should cause the plant to focus on root growth to the detriment of upward growth but that once it is firmly rooted the plant will grow healthily. As everything is either staying or getting a good start in the greenhouse i am hoping i will just crop a little later.

    Does this sound about right?
