    Hi everyone [IMG]

Just grown some dahlias, Gazania and Geraniums from seed for the first time!!
They have all came up and was wondering when to prick out and pot them on there all around 2-3 inches tall, but only have the seed leaves on.
Some say leave them longer and some say prick out!!
    Any advise welcomed  [IMG]

I tend to wait til the second leaves start to show I find I have better success then when there's just the cotyledons (I think thats the name of the first leaves) [IMG]

It is best to wait untill the first true leaves appear, as Fran says you will have better a success rate if you do. When the dahlias have two sets of true leaves, pinch out to make a bushy, stronger plant. [IMG]

there are a few plants that's recommende with, Strongy, like sweet peas - any chance you could give us a list off the top of your head? That would be really helpful! P.S - what's up with your smiley?? ;)

I would wait til the second leaves show on all of them - give them the best start. I usually have to thin my seedlings to stop them getting overcrowded, well before I start pricking out and potting up
