Hiya all, I recently planted a sunflower seed and watched it grow. about 2 weeks in when the first set of leaves were out I planted it in the garden and have watched it grow since then. I've noticed the leaves look like this: [IMG] Now I've been watering it twice a day, once before the sun is shining on it and once after the sun isnt shining on it, and also been giving it food (this started before I gave it that). I'm just wondering what can cause this and if theres anything I can do? thanks

it doesn't look disasterous to me.
I would suggest that it may be the victim of too much care!, they are fairly hardy plants, I dont know where you are, but in Kent we have had enough natural water to make the sunflowers happy (though not enough sun!)and they certainly dont need watering.
It doesn't look diseased or attacked by pest so I would say, see how it goes, don't over feed/water I think it'll be fine :)
