Problems with Courgettes

    My courgettes are flowering and producing plants but then the courgettes just die off please please can someone help me out with this problem. i would be most grateful ..... regards Chris

    You could try helping them with pollination, I think that around 10 - 11:00 in the morning is the best time.

      I have noticed that this often happens with the earliest flowers probably due to cold weather and not many pollinating insects. I think Scrungee is right but the problem should sort itself once it warms up more. Has it been cold where you live?

        For the last few years I've switched to the variety 'Parthenon' which doesn't need pollinating - even so it's still a bit early in Surrey for courgettes to go outside and thrive.
