Problems with my Asparagus

    I seem to be having a problem with my Asparagus.This is their third season so hoped to be able to harvest some.But recently I have noticed that the spearrs seem to be very soft almost rotten and bent over.Was not sure what caused this so went online to see if I could get any information and found the following item.
    Spear Damage in Asparagus
    Some of the illustrations look very similar to my spears.Can anyone offer any advice.Thanks
