I've never been shy about recommending people/companies, which whom I am unconnected, but which have given me good service [or bad for that matter], whenever a relevant subject comes up in conversation.

Folk who choose to search on a topic (either using "Search" here, or via a redirect from Google) will stumble on those threads. In a sense suppliers who provide me with good (or bad) service are getting the publicity that they deserve.

I suspect the fact that I post here quite a lot adds some weight to any such "mention" that I make, so I don't do it lightly - whereas I regard with deep suspicion anyone with only 1 post [indeed, anyone with relatively few posts] who says "I think XYZ Acme Corporation is the best thing since sliced bread" ...

 

I'm afraid as far as ACME products go, I am the user that is Wyle Coyote and usually ending up like Yosemite Sam when it goes goes wrong!
