Can someone tell me what "ICQ ID" and "AIM ID" stands for in the Profile Fields.
I left them blank as I didn't know what they stood for. Wondering now if I should have filled them in. Afraid I am not very good with computer language.

AIM and ICQ are e-mail service providers like Yahoo or Hotmail.
ID is your identification pseudomyn (or monica!)

AIM (part of AOL but you don't have to have AOL to DL it and use the AIM) is used for instant messaging, as is ICQ (I SEEK YOU). You can use them to chat with folks 'Instantly' .. instead of writing emails. You can look either one up in your browser and DL them to your Comp and set them up with a profile and chat to the world. You can search for folks to get to know.. but be careful there are a lot of weird folks out there. Just be smart with what you share with folks.

    AIM http://www.aol.co.uk/aim/
    ICQ http://www.icq.com/

I know some groups or forums use either of them for weekly 'chats' or group gatherings online to talk about all sorts of things, some pertaining to the Group and others just for communication and fun. Might be something this group might like to try?? The AIM might be better because I do believe that you can set up a private chat room for the members to go into and sit and have a visit.
    Hope this info helps.

Thanks for all your replies, I don't think I will bother with them if I don't need them for my Gardeners Corner. Not too keen in getting involved in chat rooms.
E.Mailing, EBay and Gardeners Corner are about all I use my computer for. Still learning...
