Moved to a different bungalow a few years back, and for a couple of years tolerated a skinny path, and a hopeless lawn, and was worried about easy access to my front window,(path to close to it)handy for burglars,so needed to create a wider border to plant some firethorns at window front.

A bit dubious how it may turn out,but sod it taking a chance,so new path down, and dig up the lawns.

Chippings down, firethorns planted by window, and cordelines planted in middle beds, that should do the job,and no need to mow ever again.
