Propagating plugs ready for this Autumn/next Spring - Outside or greenhouse?

I have bought a load of plug plants (pansies/violas/lavender) from a reputable grower.

I have potted them on into plastic pots however keep them in greenhouse to grow on or put them in sunny position outside? Live in South Midlands.

My vote goes to unheated greenhouse or any other rain/ wind shelter.

Plants in small pots need careful watering so outside gathering them into a plastic box makes sense, but then when it rains you'll have to lift them out and empty the box to prevent them from drowning.

Without the box, the small pots will do spectacular flyovers with the first gales.

 

I assume they're classed as "Winter flowering" pansies and violas (even though you'll probably only get the odd flower until Spring begins in earnest) ?
Depending on the size of plug/ pot it shouldn't take long for the roots to fill the pots and then they should be fine to plant out.

They'll be fine kept outside as will the lavender .
