Putting my mini greenhouse to good use I sowed these Pansy seeds month and they're just started to come up.... nearly had a disaster with these aswell... I underestimated how warm the greenhouse gets and nearly cooked them all :dh: but thankfully rescued them just in time and they seem to be recovering, my veggie seedlings weren't so lucky! :(

Sowed these last month; Snap Dragons on the left "Tom Thumb Mixed" back and "Monarch Mixed" front on the right hand side I'm growing; Nemesia "Carnival Mixed"! I have had a glut of the Tom Thumb seedlings... I thinned out and re potted 46 of those and have barely made a dent in the tray you see in the photo.... I have soo many I think I'm going to have to give them away!:hehe: seems weird that all these seedlings seem un affected by the same cooking that the Pansies got  well hopefully I should have some nice plug plants ready for the Spring and Summer flowering! :)

Using the mini greenhouse has been alot of trial and error right now I am thinking of rigging up some sort of secondary mesh paneled door so I can protect my baby plants from pests and stop it from overheating in warm weather! Maybe using some net curtain!

    Hi Cheryl
looks like you're doing pretty well with your greenhouse, well done!!,
to help keep it cool in the hot weather you could cover it with shade
netting, it should reduce the temperture by several degrees, you
could use the netting over the door as well. it's usuallyfitted inside,
but as your greenhouse is small, you could drape it over
the outside and fix it so it won't blow away in the wind.

Well done Ciryluk - as you have already found much of gardening is trial and error - but great fun.
