    Propagator: day 1

    The machine is running full speed providing boxed tropics for seeds and cuttings. I asked the hubby if he wanted to stick a finger in my propagator, feel how lovely warm and damp it is, and he made a face and grinned and mumbled about better places.

    Boys = singleminded.

    Oh come on Kristen donĀ“t be so dry to me. It was a perfectly democtratic discussion. "I need something to sprout my tropical seeds, now there is this lovely example of light box in the gardening forum, we only need tree neon lights, the heating mat, insulating material, a timer, a thermostat, and some cable, I can build the box, no prob, you do the wiring. Or I can have a propagator from Amazon".

    He was given a fair choice and chose. Nothing about leading. I like building boxes. :D

    Oh, as for that I could not lead him anywhere, he just lounged provocatively on the sofa and grinned! :D

    The propogator is a nice start Ivory but the light box has the advantage of letting you grow plants through the winter without them being drawn.

    I put my heated propagator inside my light box. The combination works a treat. My propagator looks like it is the same size as yours Ivory - its a decent size, with good headroom.
