    Hi shimsham.

As a heated propagator is a basic tool for any gardener, its unlikely any individuals will be getting rid of one. However there are loads in garden centres etc. Unless you are very keen I wouldn't worry too much about getting a thermostatically controlled one. They can be quite a bit more expensive and I am not sure how much more useful they are. It you are keen get a big one. Mine will take two large seed trays, but doesn't have a thermostat. It only cost about £20 five years ago, and I am very pleased with it.
