      sure its grevillea juniperina. very hardy and easy to grow. you need a big space for it though. miner got to six feet high by ten feet across before it collapaed under its own weight. fortunately the come back again even after extreme pruning!

          southampton. most winters are fairly mild here but we had a coupoe of really bad ones in the last few years

            No 4 looks like a Banksia.
            Do you still have it?/ did it last long?

            yes its banksia giant candles. i still have it but it was dufficult to protect outside so its now in the conservatory in a big pot

                If I could just add, I had a very similar Grevillea to that, it came under the name of G. "canberra gem".
                I found it quite hardy and vigorous.

                  yes grevillea canberra gem is a hybrid of grevillea juniperina and grevilea rosmarinifolia

                    moto_0076.jpg heres how to overwinter protea cynaroides. the bottles keep the water out of the flower buds stopping them from rotting
