Pruning A Pieris

    Anyone know how to prune a Pieris ? Mine is very out of shape and straggly.

    Can you hard prune them ? down to the gound ? Do they regrow from the hardwood ?

    When should I do this, Autumn or after flowering ?

    Hi Mac I have a Pieris (Flaming Silver)It does,ent like a severe pruning, Just a light trim ,It flowers in April- May ,I Trim it after It has flowered. [​IMG]
