Pruning a young Victoria Plum

    We planted a Victoria Plum last year and it’s grown well. The tree is only young (5 foot) and is grafted onto pixie root stock.

    I would prefer a bushier tree rather than a leggier one. Would you recommend pruning at this age or leaving until it’s more mature. If pruning is recommended, could you advise on where and how much?
