Pruning Honeysuckle

    Could anyone advise if I should cut this back now or wait for spring? Plus how far to prune to make it a little less woody and still get flowers, or is it a lost cause?
    I also have another 2 along the pergola is a similar state.

    I have 2 types, the one from Corfu is so sweet scented, once a holiday cutting oops. I chop half of mine back to almost floor level early spring alternate years. Seems to flower very well I think they are quite forgiving. They can be layered for improving stock.
