I have a yew in the corner of my garden which has never been pruned- at least not since I moved in four years ago. The yew is about 4 ft across and approximately 6 ft in height and very bushy. When is the best time to prune yew, and how hard can you prune it ? Any advice welcome !
    Cheers
    Rat
