    Bit new to growing veg. At what point should I look at lifting the pumpkin. It's ideally for Halloween (or as I close as I can get) for my little girl. The pumpkin doesn't get much sun as its in the shade for most of the day. Do you think it will eventually go completely orange or will I have to put it in the sun for a few days/week after lifting

      Yes needs some sun to ripen properly, but usually left on the plant.:smile:
