    Anyone growing these? not sure I like them this colour!! :scratch:

    They look even worse before they are washed :gaah:

    No, I will not grow them. Old fashioned Nantes for me.

    I did time ago , but the one in your picture are not real , the real purple look like that .

      Not for me I think I will stick with the red - the purple will clash with my dinner plates!

        I like purple food, but the top image has obviously been doctored! Are carrots (even more) healthy with a good dose of anthocyanins in?

          I am this year :biggrin: plus another type which is a variety of colours (I posted about them back in January)

          Here's the pic of the seed packets from when I first posted

                My friend bought me a funky veg kit for xmas which has purple carrots & sprouts in,ive sown red brussel sprouts(which lare purple on the pic) and they germinated this morning,i dont think the carrots need sowing yet but i will have to do them as she wants a report :thud:
                It also has yellow corgettes,brightlight swiss chard and tigrella tomatos with it :dunno:

                  This is strange! I'm reading a novel at the moment set during the medieval period and it seems back then purple carrots were being grown. :)
