Purple potatoes,

    I've been growing these for a few years,

        Potato, :D

        thay have a really fluffy texture, which I dont really like, I think its like cotton wool,
        chips are the only thing that I find them usefull for, thay fall apart if you boil them, you can make mash but you loose half of them as like I said thay fall apart, and I dont like the texture of them, and there a bit to small to bake,
        im sure by now your wondering why I even grow them, :heehee:
        the only thing I like about them is the color and thats why I grow them.

          I really thought you were going to say how nice they are rob! I don't think I'll try them. I grow pink fir apples they are an unusual shape and have a nice firm texture, might be worth considering next year.

          I got some at the state fair in Anchorage Alaska last summer, they make a funny mash colour:loll:but tasted fine:thumbsup:
