Got a Pyracantha (orange glow?) as a hedge but it does not flower much and when it does the flowers don't last and the flower look like they have been burnt and so no berrys. The hedge is 15+ years old,I trim in late Autum, the plants look nice and green but at some time in the year the leaves droped off and grew again, Is there any disese or bugs that can do this, i fertilizer it once a year but this is high nigtergen and high potash when i do the lawn, would like to get it to flower and have berrys, i do have honey fungus around that area were the hedge is, can any one help please

speaking from my own limited experience.....could it be just too much feed?

one of our neighbours has a completely & utterly neglected hedge of it on t'other side of our boundary fence & despite growing in poor clay soil without any care of any kind it still does be covered in flowers & berries each year :dunno: we also had a big un' at the bottom of the garden years ago which was pretty much left to its own devices & never fed or anything but still put on a great show each year without fail
