I am trying to train a pyracantha to the wall of my cottage. Last year I had loads of berries which was the first year after planting. This year I only have flowers at the ends and top of the growth.

When I drive around I see many walls bedecked with berries in the winter all over the plant. Maybe I am cutting it at the wrong time. When should pyracantha be pruned on a wall?

    Thanks...
