    Or something like that. I sometimes have no idea how I stumble across some of the stuff I find, but trying reading about Quantum Entanglement while eating:

    I simply didn't have enough brain capacity for both tasks, so I had to finish my sarny then try again.

    I know this is quite a random thing, but I like it because the scientists are telling us that everything is connected and is in fact one thing, which I've believed all my life:)

    In practical terms, this fascinates me because imagine if they exploit this trick for space exploration. It occurs to me that if you 'quantum entangle' two atoms when building a probe, and then put one of those atoms in the probe and keep one here, then if you can manipulate one (the emerging technology of 'spintronics') then you should see a corresponding change of state in the other, instantly, so no more lag while the signal travels over vast distance, and no more worrying about transmitter power, receiver sensitivity, interference etc.
