      That's not a smile, it's a Grimace.
      Did you notice the Horns.
And that handbag. It looks like a ticket dispensing machine you see on the Bus.

On the occasions that I saw the Queen while I was in the RAF it was usually her going by in a car. We used to say she had a plastic hand device at window level operated by the foot so she didn't actually have to wave.:D:heehee:

As an aside, I had a impression that she was a bit of a grouch until in 1972 when I was presented to her on an occasion, and she is a really nice person with lots of realism and a sense of humour, although there's a lot of steel underneath. I wouldn't like her job as she has to be in the public eye 24/7 and her work schedule at times would have worn down a Marine.!:thud:

I like and respect our queen. I've never met her, but her PR team have convinced me via the media that she is a likeable and respect worthy lady.

All that said, I think the only time I would buy a plastic, solar powered waving queen is under the very specific and unlikely set of circumstances as follows:

          (ALL conditions must be met)
          1. I was drunk
          2. I was engaged in banter with a friend who is very anti-royal and thought it would be a good wind up
          3. It was nearly Christmas
          4. I had too much spare cash
