Quince flowering late

    I thought my quince had been stripped of its flowers but I can see blossom opening at the top of the tree. Yeah!
    Of course, the wind has got up today just in time to blow them off before they are pollinated. Too early to celebrate yet.

      If its any consolation my pears have hardly set any fruit. I think it was the cold winds. Next year I'll get out the paintbrush.
