Quince

    Well i've got one quince.:dh:

    Now what am I going to do with that ?

    Microwave it & put some cream & sugar on it ?:scratch::cnfs:

    They keep for a very long time. Just put it on a shelf and admire it :lollol:

    Pity you don't have more as it makes a most delicious jelly.

    However, make some apple sauce and add the quince to it to get a special zing. Yummy! BTW, apple sauce freezes very well.

    Is it an apple or a pear quince? The latter are huge and go a long way.

    Cheers guys,
    Took it home (50 mile round trip :dh:) to little Willow. SaidI needed to pick some stuff up, but I just needed to see my little girl really:thumb:

    She wanted to eat it but I said I think it needs cooking.

    If I copy this page to her facebook page, do you think we'll be able to tell her how to cook it ?
