    Hi,

We're doing some major remodelling in the garden and have removed a complete bed which was here when we moved in. All of the shrubs and plants have been potted up while we decide where they are going to end up and I was wondering if you guys could help with identifying any of them? I've taken pics of the leaves and some of the stems as I hope that will help with identification. Sorry there's so many of them...

    Here goes...

Once again, sorry there are so many. We're really new to this gardening malarkey and would love to know what they are.

    Cheers

OK here are my best guesses:

    #1. A Photinia or a Pieris

    #2. Euonymous japonica

#3. looks like some type of impatien

#4. Celosia 'cultivar' (probably dwarf geisha?)

#5. Looks like a Spiraea (Spiraea bumalda?)

    #6. Acuba japonica 'variegata'

#7. Same as number 2 but variegated

#8. Rhododendron (wait till it flowers and take another picture for the cultivar)

    #9. Willow?

#10. well it's a Sedum...only about 400 or so in that genus LOL

OK well they are my best guesses so I'm sure someone else will jump in and confirm or chuck out my ideas :D

1 is Choisya or mexican orange blossom

5 Your spirea looks like one of the japonicas Not familiar with bumalda

8 is Rhododendron. Miniature form. I think it will be red.

You seem to be spot on with the rest. Can't comment on the euonymous. For someone new to gardening you certainly have a handle on your research.:):):)
