A very sad day for us who follow Horseracing.
Living in Newmarket he is almost one of the family, finally losing his long battle with stomach cancer this morning.
One of the most successful and popular trainers of all time, and one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet,so modest with all his success.
He loved to shop in Waitrose and always had time to speak.

    God bless you Henry..........R.I.P.

Henry with the great Frankel and jockey Tom Queally.

Admit I shed a tear. I am passionate about my garden but horses and horse racing are my real love. I am just so pleased he "went out" after having managed to survive long enough to see Frankel reach the pinnacle of his career. I doubt we will ever see the likes of Sir Henry again mores the pity.
