I can't put up fencing because it's an allotment....so has anyone got any other ideas for detering rabbits?! It's an allotment that I'm turning into an all purpose garden for 4 autistic adults & so far I have managed to protect the broad beans with mesh & they have left the onions& garlic well alone! But all my herbs have been munched & I'm protecting what's left with up-turned hanging baskets.....I'll be able to protect most of the vegetables with mesh & netting but I'd like a pretty border around the allotment so if anyone has any ideas for perennials, annuals, grasses, shrubs that rabbits DON'T like I'd be grateful!!
    Cheers,
    Carol

    Hi caromag
I've just been talking to some friends from France. They have a 10 acre garden and a local farmer told them that you can keep rabbits away by making up a mixture of water and milk that has gone off and spraying it around the circumference of the area you want to keep them away from.

i don't know if this only works on French rabbits. [IMG]
