I thought I had a serious slug and caterpillar problem until I saw a young rabbit helping itself to my plants, which have been decimated. I don't really want to trap it it and relocate it, so is there anything to deter it from eating them that actually works? Fencing is out of the question, too awkward and will cost to much.

Could you borrow a Jack Russel dog? My mum's dog deterred them until she got too old, then I had to find things they didn't like, which wasn't much. Euphorbias were pretty rabbit proof, and hardy geraniums though they did get nibbled by young ones. Foxgloves and Monkshood were good - you may notice that all these are pretty poisonous.

Have 2 jack russels next door as well as a dog of my own, this rabbit doesn't seem to care, fully enclosed garden, loads of plants and it's own pond, what's not to like. Might have to look at relocation as everything is getting destroyed apart from the two you mentioned plus a few others.
