    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] very quick.

D&D Now your mate looks scary, the pidgeons 'round here are bad enough, they group together and discuss a strategy for dive bombing my jeep and making 'deposits'.

Any chance your mate could have a word :D

You'll need to reinforce any hedge with loads of chicken wire, Howard!

Seriously, we had a major problem too, and ended up fencing in the garden, digging chicken wire (thick stuff, not the stuff they can bite through - we've seen the evidence of them doing this, honest  )

We were then able to plant what we wanted - great stuff! Pity, though, as it cost a lot to do it. If you're interested in what we did, have a look at the thread in the Projects section, about my garden, called something like "we've been here a year", last October. It seems a bit drastic, but it lets you plant the garden as you want it, not as rabbits dictate.

Yeah, Ive had a thread about these blasted creatures. I've only got one but it's causing all sorts of problems. Can't shoot it (too near Public Rights of way). If it lives in a Warren on your land you can get people to "ferret" them out. Good Luck. When I catch the little bxxxxxd I'm giving it to the chefs and we'll have it for supper. :D

Hi,I Googled this and there is a pruduct called Plant Skydd that is supposed to be effective at dettering them. I'm going to give it a try. If I can keep them off the plants then, maybe, I can tempt them into a trap with some carrots. Then we can see about the stew. :D

use the chickenwire as dendrobium, or rabbit wire as it may be more appropriately called! Get yourself a nice bit of 240v cabling, wire it up to the wire and buggs is your uncle!

Alternatively you could give my friend Mr Fudd a call, i've lost his number but he looks a bit like this... [IMG]

    hope that helps!! :D :D :D
