    Hi All,

I have planted French Breakfast and Scarlett Globe radishes and they are now big enough to eat. The French Breakfast are fine, but some of the Scarlett Globe are split when i pick them. Any ideas what can cause this? Am i doing something wrong?

Isn't this caused by eratic watering?

I'm glad we're not the only ones who can't grow radish - ours are dismal failure!

I've seen pictures before of split radish, but the person never said it wasn't normal. So I'm not sure what's right and wrong, to be fair.

    Hi.

I believe this is caused by sudden rapid growth. Imo, this may well have been caused by the sudden recent rise in temperatures.

    Cheers...Freddy
