Radishes munched!

    ...And not by me:( My Mooli radishes have succumbed to cabbage root maggot - roots have all but disappeared although the top growth appeared good. Next time I'll be covering them up!

    I've only grown them once and that was starting them in the autumn, are your's over-wintered plants Andy?

    Bother, try carpet squares with slots cut in them next time, acts as a barrier round the stems.

    Not a bad idea there; I got a new mattress the other day and the corner were protected with a material that could be used for this!

    Hmm, 4 corner, 4 radishes... I need more mattresses;)

    They weren't over wintered John, might try that this year though.
