Can anyone recommend the most cost efficient way of edging raised beds? Trying to decide if it's cheaper to buy wood myself and make some, or buy the premade border edging which is £2.99 a pop from a local discount store!

I've been having the same issue. Timber is expensive.

I'd prefer to have scaffolding boards as they're a nice depth and thickness and should last for years. However, they cost a fortune.

I've been searching Gumtree and local reclamation yards for months now.

Another issue I have is actually getting them home.

I wish I could afford the woodblox stuff
