    Hi,

I had some turf laid last September and some of it seems to be dying back so my lawn is a shade of yellow'ish green. I've run a rake through the lawn and a resonable amount of yellow grass is coming up.

Should I carry-on raking or is this the wrong time of year?

    Thanks, Nick

There is usually a bit of yellow dead grass in lawns early in the year, but by now it should be growing strongly. Sounds as if it needs a good feed. A liquid feed you spray on has the fastest action. Granules probably have a longer-lasting effect, but it needs a little care to spread them evenly. Whichever you use don't overdo it. Too much feed can scorch the grass.
