Raking large plot

Hi,

I have a holiday home in Ireland with about one acre of "lawn". The ground is too rough for a ride on. I currently use a BCS power scythe for cutting the grass every couple of weeks (works fine). The problem is raking up the cut grass as this takes hours. I do have an old ride on with the deck removed; is there any equipment that i could tow that would gather the grass (could be 6" in length). I'm getting too old for all this raking

set it to mulch and you dont need to rake ...

don't buy new as they cost lots .... look for a used one on ebay (you can find them for £300 if you are patient) ....

send it to a lawnmower repair centre, spend another £200 for a total refurbishment/service and you will have a bargain that will do the job easily

every 3 months, change the oil, sharpen the blade and change the airfilter ... will last a lifetime
