For the life of me I couldn't track down the Rambler 'Magenta' locally and so went with my first thought,'Emily Gray'. I've just planted her against the arch at the top of my garden and fingers crossed she likes it there,it does get up a bit of breeze along the adjoining path.
    Anyone got one?

Looks lovely pal, but has touched a very sore point for me as this year my "Pauls Himalayan Musk" which I bought for my fathers last birthday present and has previously covered an old apple tree has just upped its peggs and died! Don't know why, I can only suspect that it has drowned. I have not dug it out, just cut hard back and will keep my fingers crossed that I may get a shoot next spring.

Oh dear Waco, that is a shame. You just might be lucky..here's hoping anyway:).
If it's anything like mine you'll be fine,I'm forever having to remove shoots from the bases...must be all of that Horse manure I feed them.
