    Hi,

Has anybody grown the Rangoon Creeper Quisqualis indica in this country?

It's a very fragrant tropical climber and I was wondering if it can be grown successfully in a conservatory. My wife used to live in the tropics where it grew wild and she is determined to try and keep it in the UK.

    Many thanks,

    Nick

Hi Red not grown it but Quisqualis indica is one of the more difficult plants to propagate. The bloom time is late summer to Mid Fall. It needs full sun to grow properly. It grows well in sandy loam to clay loam soil. The water range is from normal to moist. it can stand temperatures down to the mid 20f.

Not come across it before, but it looks as if it might be interesting.
Pity about it being difficult to propagate, perhaps if it was easy, it would be well known here.
