Rare bulb

    Hi all, a friend of mine is getting mad looking to identify a bulb that actually look like an aloe saponaria , but actually is a bulb that lose the leave and shoot again in spring , so far no flower yet as it was a really small bulb.

    One of the Ledebouria genus maybe?

    Another thought is that it may be one of the African Scilla species - some of them have near succulent leaves.

      That is not a definite id Sal, just a couple of ideas.

      I'm growing Ledebouria socialis for the first time. Hope to get something like this...............
