    Hi all
Im completly new to this forum and to gardening.
I have just started a raised veg patch and a bunch of containers in the back of my garden.

This lunch time a friend of mine came round and donated a couple of butternut squash plants and a few raspberry canes.

I popped out for a couple of hours to buy some compost and so forth and on my return the raspberries were looking really unhappy... on closer inspection all the leaves had been munched on and quite a bit! And this in only a couple of hours!! :(

I have no idea what did it though! Any ideas?
The leaves look like something has been taking bites out of them.... and it was so quick! im gutted and not too sure what to do about it!

    Thanks for any help!

If you`ve only just planted them, ellen, it could be the shock of transplanting. Especially if they were bare root.Keep them moist but not waterlogged, and they should perk up in a few days. As for the damage to the leaves. You say it looks as if something has taken a bite out of them. If the damage is circular and at the edge of the leaves, then it is probably leaf cutter bees. Any chance of a pic to make certain?:)
